Hi Y'all, This is Bob from Minneapolis, a north suburb of Dallas. My
daughter's computer doesn't let me write separate paragraphs, so make your own
separations. My primary purpose is to tell you all that I thought the Kairos
at the Hughes Unit was very well done, and I am very pleased I was permitted
to be a part of it.
I do believe that we touched the hearts of many of the candidates. I know my counseling sessions were at a greater depth than I remember from earlier Kairos work. Please receive my thanks, and please also pray for me as I go to a Federal Penitentiary in Minnesota this afternoon to work a Minnesota CHARIS. (Their spelling of Kairos) This program does the same work, but does have a few refinements I like very much. One is to have women speakers in the men's prisons. Another is to have a special time an place and team for prayer for the speakers. This group also prays for those listed on prayer requests. It is composed of men and women from the outside world and several men who are graduates of the CHARIS. I have seen it work, and like it. Nuff said. God bless you all! Bob McKewin
I praise God I was able to serve on the outside team, it was such a
blessing
