In order to write a good Sponsor letter you must make certain that you have one or two folks who will make notes on what is said during Open Mike on Saturday and Closing on Sunday.  Always write what you hear, which may not be exactly what the man said.  It is more important to get the idea across than to have a accurate quote.  Don't make things up, but don't be overly concerned about the word choice.

It is a good idea to have the Sponsor letter written on Sunday, it help prepare the men for closing.
