What are Responses?

These are the comments made by the Candidates during the time that they are given the opportunity to react to the program.  This shows how they reacted to the weekend. 

I have also included letters written by team members sharing their reaction to the Weekend and some of what they saw.  Kairos is not only about the inmates, many team members are deeply touched by the weekend.  The Lord blesses those who are willing to do His work, and those responses are also there.

Some of Team member write letter to the churches who are supporting them or this ministry, because it is a ministry and not a mission.  Some team members think this means that they should report back on the work that God is doing in our prisons so that others might also be blessed by His works.  It should be remembered that a Kairos weekend is not possible without the support of thousands of individuals, and some think those should be aware of the fruit of their planting.

The purpose of publishing these letters is to provide ideas and  quotes for team members to write letters to those who have provided that support.  Please feel free to copy anything that is posted here.  Please send  a copy of any letter that you write to the Web Servant!

Many think that having a letter published in the church newsletter is a great way to keep the congregation informed about this ministry.  It is also a great way to share our experiences with each other.  If you have served on a team please consider adding a letter to this section.
